Book Signing with Monique Burnette – “Sobek’s Return, Gods at War”

About Monique Burnette

Monique Brunette is a Miami Florida native, born on the 9th of March of 1969, where she lived with her parents until the age of ten. Later, her parents relocated to a small town in Florida called, Leesburg, where she currently resides today. She is a proud mother of two beautiful children. Her youngest of the two, a fifteen year old high school student named Angeliese Mzhickteno, is the book cover illustrator for Monique’s first published novel.

From the age of twelve, Monique took up singing, and spent years taking private voice training and has been a member of multiple choirs throughout various stages of her life. As a young adult she went into business with her father running a karaoke dj business with multiple employees. She performed as a lead singer in a local band, and later she tried her hand at song writing, in which she accomplished publishing several of her own songs.

Monique Brunette has always had a passion for writing. In 2020 she decided to put her skills to the test and write her first 601 page novel, that she then managed to successfully become a published author through BMK publishing, out of Plaines, Georgia. Her first novel is part of an Egyptian mythological series. She has already written the second novel to the series, which is due to be released late summer of 2023, while the third novel to the series is already underway.
